Ever since the U.S. Social Security system was created in the 1930s, it has assigned Social Security numbers and kept track of some key information that is useful for geneological researchers. However, you usually won't find Social Security records of people who were already retired in 1937, or those who elected not to sign up for Social Security when it was first instituted. With some help from Ancestry.com I have collected here records for the 188 Krogs currently listed in the Social Security Death Index. These records include U.S. Krogs with Social Security numbers who died between 1937 and 1998. Click for more.
